Apple has released the new update of its operating systems for, among others, the iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and Apple TV.
The 26.2 update is now available to download on all devices that support it. For iPhone, IOS 26.2 brings a series of news and bug fixes in Apple’s own apps, and the update also activates direct translation in Airpods Pro 2 and 3 and Airpods 4 with noise reduction.
As usual, the update is ready to download for free under Settings, General, Software Update.
The direct translation in Airpods works when you meet a person in real life, but not yet in Swedish. This works best when the person you are talking to also has Airpods with the same function and you speak one of the supported languages.
Supported languages include English, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Korean, and Portuguese.
