Bertelsmann is starting the application phase for the 18th edition of “Talent Meets Bertelsmann”. Students from all over Europe can apply for the international career event from now until May 3rd. From June 29th to July 1st, 2026, selected talents will come together in the Berlin representative office “Unter den Linden 1” to work on business issues together with company executives and to make valuable contacts. The event is part of the “Create Your Own Career” employer branding initiative.

Immanuel Hermreck, Bertelsmann’s Chief Human Resources Officer, says: “With ‘Talent Meets Bertelsmann’ we bring committed students together with our company’s decision-makers. Every year we are amazed by the energy and perspectives with which the participants approach current challenges. The event offers them the opportunity to get to know Bertelsmann up close – and us the chance to discover exceptional talent at an early stage.”

Since the first edition, “Talent Meets Bertelsmann” has become a fixture in the European university calendar. Around 200 former participants have now joined Bertelsmann. The constantly growing alumni network now includes more than 900 members who remain connected to each other through regular events and exchange formats.

During the three-day event, students work in interdisciplinary teams on practical cases from Bertelsmann’s international media, service and education environment. They present their results to a top-class jury made up of members of the board of directors and top managers of the group. In addition to attractive prices, all participants benefit from long-term coaching offers and access to the international alumni network.
