New mechatronic gripper series and inductive coupling systems increase efficiency and safety in industrial automation processes.

MUNICH – At the Automatica trade fair,automation solutions provider,SMW,will showcase advancements in end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) designed to enhance the efficiency and safety of automated industrial processes. Key among these innovations is a mechatronic gripper, demonstrated in conjunction wiht inductive coupling systems.

The mechatronic worldwide long-lifting MX-U is the latest size of the motiact product range, which SMW will show on the Automatica.

New Mechatronic gripper Series: MX-U Expands Motiact Range

The SMW portfolio now includes the mechatronic universal long-lifting MX-U, a 2-finger parallel gripper. It features an extended hub of 52.3 millimeters per jaw and a gripping force of 300 Newton. This design offers meaningful flexibility for pick-and-place tasks, broadening the scope of cobot applications in industrial settings.
