, which focused on issues relevant to Muslims in India. The account, boasting 6.7 million followers, became inaccessible to users in India on Wednesday, sparking accusations of censorship.
Founder denounces “Censorship”

account, issued a press release expressing his dismay. I have received hundreds of messages and comments from our subscribers in India who complain that they can no longer access our account,
he stated. He further alleged, Meta blocked the @Muslim account on the official request of the Indian government. This is censorship.
Khatahtbeh vowed to continue their work, stating, We will continue to bring the truth and firmly defend justice.
He also urged Meta to reinstate the account.
Meta’s Content Restriction Policy
While Meta declined to comment directly on the specific case,a spokesperson pointed to the company’s policy regarding content restrictions when a government believes content violates local laws. this policy allows for the removal of content deemed unlawful by local authorities.
