The Israeli army ended up launching an assault on Rafah on Monday May 6. As of Tuesday morning, she claimed to have seized a symbolic and crucial place for 2 million Gazans: the Palestinian part of the only border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt, which opens in full heart of this city, behind an immense aluminum arch, at the end of the long Saladin road. Photographs were released of Israeli flags raised at this terminal, the taking of which completed the siege of the Gaza Strip.

This sudden breakthrough took place just a few hours after Hamas announced, to the surprise of all actors, that it had accepted an Israeli ceasefire proposal on Monday, not without having made important modifications, that Israel considers them unacceptable. The army presents its operation in Rafah as limited, and not as the beginning of a conquest of the city, the southern cul-de-sac of the Gaza Strip and the only city not to have been invested until then by the troops of the Jewish state,

Al Bilad Newspaper Israeli Radio: The Army Began…

An Israeli radio station said on Monday that Israeli forces began evacuating Palestinian civilians from the Rafah area before a possible attack on the city in the southern Gaza Strip. The evacuation process may include about 100,000 Palestinians.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation “Kan” said that the Israeli army began evacuating neighborhoods in Rafah and a number of eastern neighborhoods close to the Israeli border.

An Israeli army statement said, “The army calls on residents of eastern Rafah to head toward an expanded humanitarian area,” noting that there is an increase in humanitarian aid entering Gaza.

The statement added that the Israeli army “expanded the humanitarian area in Al-Mawasi to accommodate the increasing levels of aid flowing into Gaza. This expanded humanitarian area includes field hospitals, tents, and increasing amounts of food, water, medicines, and additional supplies.”

“Subject to the government’s approval, the continuous assessment of the situation will guide the gradual movement of civilians in the designated areas to the humanitarian zone,” he continued, adding that invitations to temporarily move to the humanitarian zone will be sent through posters, SMS, phone calls and media broadcasts in Arabic.

The Israeli army statement concluded by saying,

Dear Pep Guardiola, Return To Bayern The Ultimate…

“My Bayern” is the name of the column by the legendary SPORT BILD reporter Raimund Hinko, who deals with the German record champions. Hinko has been with FC Bayern for decades.

Dear Pep Guardiola,

You! Yes, of course NOT! Who else on earth?

You have long noticed that I have been advocating for you as a Thomas Tuchel fan for weeks. You always laugh when my colleagues bring up coaching candidates at Bayern that you can’t even classify right away. A growing number of coaching colleagues come from the rest of the Premier League. This English league that has been terrible is stealing its own juice for years. Which in Europe have long since lost touch with the Spanish La Liga or the Bundesliga, which they snobbishly call the “Peasant League”, or are currently losing – see Champions League, see League Europa.

In fact, your return to Munich feels adventurous. But she is so close. My colleagues are also slowly changing their minds. Because of that Bayern Now we just need a great trainer (that could come from your vocabulary). They need the best in the world.

India Has Established A Strategic Base Near The…

India has set up a new base to bolster its forces on strategically important islands near the Maldives, days before the Maldives is expected to send Indian troops home.

According to a foreign news agency, this announcement has come at a time when the withdrawal of Indian forces from the Maldives is about to begin in a few days.

Relations between the Maldives and India have been strained ever since the election of Mohammad Muizhu as president last year.

President Muhammad Muizhu gave an ultimatum to India to withdraw 89 security personnel from Maldives. These officials were in Maldives for operating spy planes and other surveillance. The first batch of these personnel will leave the Maldives on March 10 and the evacuation process will be completed within two months.

According to a statement issued by the Indian Navy on Saturday, the new base will further expand India’s operational surveillance in the region. The base to be built on India’s Lakshadweep Islands will be inaugurated on March 6, after which the naval force stationed here will turn into an ‘autonomous naval unit’.

The new naval base is located at a distance of 130 km from the Maldives on Mini Coy Island,

Authorities Denounce Devastation Of The Golungo Alto Forest…

The forest reserve in the municipality of Golungo Alto, in the province of Cuanza Norte, is being devastated by wood miners. Every day, at dawn, several trucks hit the road carrying several tons of illegally harvested wood in the forest reserve.

The complaint comes from the district attorney for the municipality of Golungo Alto, Manuel dos Passos, who is concerned about the silence of the provincial authorities. He said that “wooden trucks move at dawn”.

The district attorney of Cambambe, Luís Alexandre, who reinforces the complaint, said that trucks are not interpolated along the roads with illegal wood.

“How is it possible that a truck circulates from Bolongongo, Quikulungo, Golungo Alto [Cuanza Norte]to Kikolo market [Luanda] without being questioned by a tax agent or a Police officer, or an agent from the Criminal Investigation Service?“, he questioned.

The head of inspection at the Cambambe forestry development department, Simão Jorge, said that the sector he heads only has six inspectors, an insufficient number to face the challenges of supervising timber bull smuggling activities in the region.
