During donations, people in Austria traditionally like to use a profit. According to surveys, every third donation states to donate by benefits. For a few weeks now, it has become increasingly uncertainty around the question of whether donations are still possible in the future under donations. The background is the introduction of the so-called IBAN name comparison on October 9, 2025.

With regard to the security measure starting on October 9, non -profit organizations have long been making sure that their account names are uniformly and clearly understandable.
