Huawei Mate X7: Bendable Phone Now in Europe

by drbyos

Just a few weeks after the Chinese premiere, the Huawei Mate X7 has arrived in international markets as well. The smartphone with a bendable screen is superior to its predecessor in many ways, compared to it, it has a more durable design, new cameras and a larger battery. In Europe, the novelty will be available in white, black and red at a price of 2,100 euros, or roughly HUF 803,000, which is how much the Galaxy Z Fold 7 started at.

The displays of the smartphone have become slightly larger, so the outer panel is 6.49, while the inner bendable screen has an image diagonal of 8 inches. Both displays are based on LTPO OLED technology, which means that the refresh rate can be freely adjusted between 1 and 120 Hz depending on the content to save energy.

The external display is protected by Crystal Armor Kunlun glass, and inside, a multi-layer composite design protects the flexible panel. It is also worth noting that the cover of the device complies with the IP58 and IP59 ratings, so it is not only waterproof, but also somewhat resistant to dust.

Huawei mobile phones have always been very good at photography, and accordingly, a 50-megapixel primary camera with a variable aperture, whose aperture can be adjusted between f/1.4 and 4.0, has been placed on the back. Then there’s an updated 50-megapixel telephoto module with 3.5x optical zoom, and the lineup is rounded off by a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle unit.

The Kirin 9030 Pro chipset serves inside the phone, which is the current most modern and advanced chipset of the Chinese manufacturer. It looks like the manufacturer was not pushed out by the bans, because it is constantly improving its in-house hardware.

You can take pictures of yourself with the external or internal selfie camera, each with 8 megapixels. The 5,600 mAh capacity silicon carbide battery inside the smartphone was not tampered with, which means that international customers can also buy mobile phones with the same battery size. The battery can be charged with 66 watts via cable, and with induction solutions the maximum is 50 watts.
