New solidarity consultations and measures for seniors: the Castelsarrasin Moissac intercommunal hospital center continues its commitment to patient rights and improved care, with the support of users.
The users’ commission (CDU) is an essential body for dialogue between users and the hospital. Its mission is to ensure that patients’ rights are respected and to contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality of reception, care and safety of care.
In particular, it examines complaints and complaints, makes recommendations and proposes improvement actions within the establishment.
The renewal of user representatives (RU) makes it possible to continue and strengthen their commitment to serving patients and their loved ones.
The representatives of users renewed in their role as members of the CDU are:
Daniel Botta, incumbent and president of the CDU, also president of the association of users and friends of the hospital;
Serge Delos, holder of the CDU, member of ADAPEI;
Monique Cousteils, substitute, member of users and friends of the hospital;
Ms. Dominique Mirouze, substitute, member of the French Association of Diabetics Occitanie.
Marie-France Brouillet, former health executive, participates in the CDU as representative of the Supervisory Board, as does Ms. Camille Lopitaux, departmental delegate of the France Parkinson 82 association.
The RUs are identified at the entrance to each hospital department.
A mailbox for user representatives is available in the reception hall of the Castelsarrasin Moissac Intercommunal Hospital Center (CHICM) to leave them a message, which can also be sent to bottadan@wanadoo.fr.
Solidarity consultation for those over 70
As part of improving the provision of care and support, the following should be noted:
Establishment, at the hospital’s outpatient clinics, in conjunction with the CPTS Quercy Gascogne, of a local solidarity consultation intended for people over 70 years old without a treating doctor.
This consultation has been running since February 7 and takes place every week, on Wednesday morning. It is provided by Doctor Brignol, doctor at the SMR (medical care and rehabilitation). Access to this consultation is done after registration with the CPTS Quercy Gascogne, which centralizes requests and directs you to the doctor (Tel. 06 49 53 85 03).
At the Castelsarrasin SMR, since December 1, a maximum of one patient has been received in a day hospital, for half a day from Monday to Friday, according to a specific profile: already “passed” to the SMR after orthopedic surgery with rehabilitation, capable of “withstanding” 3.5 hours of work with physiotherapist, occupational therapist, osteopath, not alone, not far away. According to these criteria, the medical team offers care that city paramedical professionals cannot provide.
In addition, the CHICM analysis laboratory receives assessments from Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., without appointment.
