Hörsching on December 19th, 2025 – After a traffic accident on Mühlbachstrasse, a fugitive alcoholic in the Linz-Land district was quickly located and arrested by the police.
Two police patrols were called to a traffic accident on Mühlbachstrasse in Hörsching on the evening of December 19, 2025 at around 8:50 p.m. On site, the emergency services found a badly damaged car on an embankment near the Mühlbach – but there was initially no trace of the driver.
By immediately querying the license plate, the officers were able to quickly identify the owner of the registration, a 21-year-old man from the Linz-Land district. With the help of a cell phone location and consultation with the man’s girlfriend, the police continued the search. A little later, a patrol managed to locate the 21-year-old in the B1 area.
The driver of the accident stated that he could no longer remember exactly what happened and that he was alone in the vehicle. An alcohol test carried out showed a value of 1.02 per mille. The police temporarily took away the man’s driver’s license. He was then taken to Kepler University Hospital with minor injuries.
