The announcement came during a huge event in Dubai in the presence of media and sector partners, including Etisalat from e&, in addition to content creators and photographers, where HONOR unveiled its latest and most powerful device to date, the HONOR Magic8 Pro. The event also witnessed the first regional launch of the “The Night Deserves a Photo” competition.
At the opening ceremony, Debo Zhang, General Manager of HONOR in the Gulf, gave a speech in which he highlighted the strong performance of the brand in the region’s markets, stressing HONOR’s commitment to providing purposeful technology that reflects the lifestyle and aspirations of users. During the keynote, HONOR presented a comprehensive presentation of the most prominent features of the HONOR Magic8 Pro, along with an interactive comparison that demonstrated the superior camera quality in the new generation. The phone comes with a 200-megapixel AI Ultra Night Telephoto camera, which provides higher clarity in distant shots and low-light environments, in addition to the AI ​​Ultra Night Portrait mode, which enhances color accuracy and exposure balance.
The phone also offers innovative features, including AI Magic Color and AI Editor, to enhance colors and modify images directly on the device through enhanced artificial intelligence capabilities that provide a more professional and smooth experience. The company confirmed that the HONOR Magic8 Pro phone is the first device in the UAE to operate with the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which provides advanced processing efficiency, improved thermal performance, and faster response. Other features have also emerged, such as the HONOR Silicon-carbon 7100mAh battery, AI Button, AI Search, and AI Documents that enhance daily productivity and rely heavily on advanced artificial intelligence technologies.
