Not Indonesia, but Singapore which became the first country outside Japan to launch the Honda Super One electric car. Interestingly, the tiny electric car was immediately sold at a fantastic price, SGD 178,999 or the equivalent of IDR 2.3 billion.

Quoting PaultanHonda Super One was first introduced in October 2025 at the Japan Mobility Show. And now the car is appearing at the Tokyo Auto Salon and the Singapore Motor Show.

Along with its debut in Lion Country, the technical specifications of the Honda Super One began to be revealed. This compact electric car produces 95 PS of power or the equivalent of 70 kW with 162 Nm of torque. That figure is midway between the base, the N-One e:, and the larger and more powerful Honda e.

Regarding mileage, Honda has not announced official figures. However, looking at the DC fast charging capability from 20 to 80% in 30 minutes, the battery is estimated to have a capacity of 29.6 kWh like the N-One e:. With more power, the Super One’s mileage is predicted to be slightly less than the WLTP version’s 295 km.

Interestingly, Super One brings a new Boost mode feature which optimizes the output of the front electric motor. This mode allows simulating 7-speed gear shifts, complete with artificial engine sounds via the Active Sound Control system. A similar feature was previously popular with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and 6 N, and is now starting to be adopted by other brands.

Even though it is positioned as a sports EV, its mechanical construction is relatively simple. The front suspension is still MacPherson strut and rear torsion beam, with drum brakes on the rear wheels. The exterior design still maintains the typical retro-modern style of the N-One e:, but is given aggressive fender curvatures, so that the dimensions increase significantly.

Entering the cabin, the Super One’s interior remains simple but more premium, with upgraded front seats and partial leather upholstery. Standard features include a 9-inch Display Audio touchscreen, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, as well as the full Honda Sensing safety package.

Regarding price, this is what steals the most attention. In Singapore, the Honda Super One is priced at SGD 178,999 or the equivalent of IDR 2.3 billion. Of the total price, around SGD 90,000 (Rp. 1.1 billion) is the Certificate of Entitlement (COE), which is known to be expensive.

For those who don’t know, a COE in Singapore is a motor vehicle ownership certificate that is mandatory to own a car (or other vehicle) in Singapore for 10 years. This certificate functions as a quota system to control the number of vehicles on the roads and overcome congestion.
