The annual district festival, known as “Being a child in Holsterhausen,” is set to take place on Wednesday, June 25, from 2 to 6 p.m. The event will be held on the church square of the Catholic Church of St. Mariä,located at Holbeinstraße 16,45147 Essen.

Organizers have planned an afternoon filled with fun, games, and entertainment for children and their families. numerous institutions from Essen will host stands offering activities such as playing and tinkering. Attendees can also enjoy glitter tattoos, a bouncy castle, and a football offering from Rot-Weiss Essen. All activities are free of charge. “Kindein in Holsterhausen” is initiated by the youth welfare office of the city of Essen, the Arbeiterwohlfahrt Kreisverband Essen eV, the integration agencies NRW, and numerous institutions from Holsterhausen.
