Andi Deris, the other lead vocalist in the powerhouse lineup, revealed in a recent interview with The Metal Command that the new album will be "much more easy listening," taking a departure from the heavier, more "edgy" sound of their latest album, "Helloween."
Deris describes the new material as flowing and positive, with plenty of melodic sections perfect for singing along. While it still features powerful moments and speedy tracks, the overall feel is more lighthearted and uplifting.
Building on Their Success
The band’s decision comes after successfully navigating the challenges of having a larger lineup. Recently, Helloween managed to reconcile all seven members – including the returning Kiske and Kai Hansen – into a cohesive unit. Deris emphasizes the importance of understanding and accepting individual differences within the band. He attributes their success to open communication and finding compromises, leading to a more harmonious creative process.
