French authorities in Isère have announced the arrest of a suspected “series thief” following a string of complaints from patients in the Grenoble area. The suspect allegedly targeted patients by entering their rooms during their absence or posing as a volunteer. The Mutualist clinic was not the only location affected. A search of the suspect’s residence in February 2025 revealed items linked to fifteen victims across five Grenoble-area healthcare facilities.
Stolen objects and jewelry were recovered during the search, leading to the suspect’s arrest. The individual was also allegedly seen with her husband using stolen bank cards.
