The task
They translate the sharpness of ARCH+ content into visibility, reach and economic stability.
You are responsible for marketing and sales strategically – in close coordination with management and editorial staff, with your own judgment and creative freedom.

That means concrete
• Development and implementation of a marketing and sales strategy for the magazine and project platform
• Responsibility for sales and visibility: advertisements, subscriptions, individual issues, online offers, trade, PR
• Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships

You have a say in how ARCH+ is perceived and by whom.

Who we are looking for
The position is aimed at people
• who understand marketing as strategic work
• who can read cultural contexts and economic contexts equally
• Position the ARCH+ clearly and represent it convincingly

We also specifically address people without a traditional marketing career who have experience in effectively communicating and selling complex content to the public.

You bring with you
• Reliable experience in marketing, communications, PR or sales (or comparable practice)
• Ability to condense content precisely and place it strategically
• Business-oriented thinking without cultural-industry simplification
• very good knowledge of German and English
• Affinity to architecture, cities, theory, culture or science

A completed degree is helpful, but not crucial.

Regarding transparency:
ARCH+ is an independent, non-profit structure. The remuneration is initially below the level of large media or agency environments, but is open to development and should be adjusted as the reach, revenue and partnerships grow.
