Harry Potter & Parodies: Why We Still Love Hogwarts

by Archynetys Entertainment Desk

September 1, 2025 is Back to Hogwarts Dayand there’s a reason its hallowed halls still call fans back, year after year.

Hogwarts isn’t just a school of witchcraft and wizardry; it’s a destination for outsiders, orphans and all kids—even the grown ones—who never quite fit. The kind of place a traveler might stumble into if it were a real stop on their map, looking past the trinkets in Diagon Alley or the frothy Butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade to find the truths simmering underneath.

For us—yes, us—that feeling has always been there. The longing for belonging. The push against systems built to keep you out. The discovery that the very thing that makes you different is the thing that gives you power. That’s not fantasy. That’s a lived reality.

Which is why when we show up to Hogwarts, we don’t just arrive like polite guests. We change the atmosphere with our own kind of Patronus energylighting up the castle in ways only we could. Trap beats under the enchanted ceiling of the Great Hall. Muggles and Death Eaters reimagined in Chicago streets. Parodies that bend the magic until it looks like us, sounds like us, feels like us.

And, welcoming us all back is Harry Potters: House of Hogwarts x Krispy Kreme Collection. Now that “Hot & Ready” light welcomes fans with wizard-themed doughnuts and beverages, the same way Harry once followed the silvery light of a stag Patronus through the dark.

But the real pilgrimage happens when the train leaves King’s Cross’ platform 9¾ and millions of us board again. Not to escape our world, but to reimagine it.

So as you sip your Golden Snitch latte or bite into a glazed spell of your own, here are a few of our favorite Harry Potter parodies that prove when it comes to Hogwarts, the fandom is funny, defiant and unmistakably Black.

If Harry Potter had Black Wizards

Don’t let the Black wizards at Hogwarts argue over how they like their grits in the Great Hall. Forget the dark arts, that’s pure chaos.
