Former US Vice President and 2024 presidential hopeful, Kamala Harris, has voiced strong disapproval of former US President Joe Biden‘s handling of the Gaza situation, stating his actions were “insufficient” and failed to demonstrate adequate empathy for Palestinian civilians.

Excerpts from Harris’s forthcoming book, “107 Days,” were obtained by Axios, revealing her critical assessment of Biden’s approach.

According to Axios, Harris recounts in her book her plea to Biden regarding Gaza: “(Gaza) In his statements to the public on this issue, I begged Joe to show the same empathy in ukraine to the innocent civilians in Gaza.”

She attributed his failure to the “open check” that biden gave to Netanyahu

“(Gaza) In his statements to the public on this issue, I begged Joe to show the same empathy in Ukraine to the innocent civilians in Gaza.

Harris further contends that Biden’s perceived unwavering support for Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu contributed to his unsuccessful 2024 presidential campaign. She suggests that Netanyahu’s preference was for either Biden or donald Trump to occupy the presidential seat.

Harris also addressed Netanyahu’s leadership directly, acknowledging Israel’s right to self-defence but criticizing the response. “however, Netanyahu’s response, the number of innocent Palestinian women and children killed, and the fact that Netanyahu’s life of Netanyahu did not prioritize the priority of the prisoners of israel, weakened the moral stance of Israel in the international context,” she stated.
