(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Ahn Hong-seok = Bucheon Hana Bank, the leader in women’s professional basketball, won its first game in the second half of the year and won four games in a row.

Hana Bank defeated Yongin Samsung Life Insurance 75-57 in the BNK Financial 2025-2026 Women’s Professional Basketball Regular League away game held at Yongin Indoor Stadium on the 10th.

Hana Bank ran away from the first quarter with the twin guns of Jinan and Jeonghyeon and took the victory without giving up the lead even once.

At Incheon Dowon Gymnasium, Busan BNK defeated the home team, Incheon Shinhan Bank, 74-61, moving up from tied for second place with Cheongju KB to sole second place (8 wins, 6 losses).

BNK took a huge lead of 25-7 in the second quarter and finished the first half with a double score of 41-19, signaling an early victory.

Shinhan Bank, which did not give up, pursued fiercely in the second half, but the victory was sealed when BNK Sonia Kim threw a 3-pointer from the left while chasing the shot clock two minutes after the end of the 4th quarter, creating a 13-point gap.

Sonia Kim scored 27 points, the most for both teams, and grabbed 17 rebounds.
