On the “Sorry We’re Cyrus” podcast, hosted by his mother Tish, Miley Cyrus shared an anecdote about his father, Billy Ray Cyrus, allegedly smoking marijuana on the set of the sitcom “hannah Montana”.

When asked about a memorable story, Miley recounted, “Dad smoked grass and everyone blamed me for that. It’s hilarious … he didn’t share because tish did not smoke yet”.

Tish Cyrus, who divorced Billy Ray in 2023, admitted she initially doubted the accusation.”They called me to tell me that Billy Ray smoked grass, and I told them ‘absolutely not, he would never do that. It’s Mitchel Musso!'” she recalled.

Miley then clarified, “Well, it was Mitchel.It was mitchel Musso! It was both”.

However, Mitchel Musso, who played Oliver in the series, remembers the events differently. In a statement to E! news, the actor stated, “This is not how I remember it.However, I have lots of stories of those years that deserve to be discussed. If we revisit the story of Hannah Montana, just say it.I send all my love to miley and his family… even when the rewritings become also creative.”
