The reason the pregnancy came as a surprise was that Hailey had a uterine septum in her womb. This is a membrane that divides the uterus into two separate parts and increases the risk of miscarriage, infertility and premature birth.
Her doctor, Dr. Thais Aliabadi, had advised her not to get pregnant while they worked on a treatment plan for the condition, Bieber says on the “SHE MD” podcast, TMZ reports.
– But shortly after that conversation I became pregnant, says the model and beauty mogul in the podcast.
Aliabadi wasn’t thrilled at first because she was worried about Hailey’s health, says the doctor who also participated in the podcast.
But all went well, and Hailey and Justin’s son Jack was born in August 2024.
