A fire broke out in a two-story restaurant in Gwacheon-dong, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do around 4:40 am today (14th).
In this fire, a Chinese male employee in his 60s and a Korean-Chinese female employee in her 60s who lived in the rooftop room died, and the restaurant building and nearby greenhouse were all burned.
Police believe that the fire spread quickly because part of the exterior wall of the building was made of wood.
The fire department extinguished the fire in about two hours and is investigating the exact cause of the fire together with the police.
