Graz, September 23, 2025 – an offensive fireworks in the bunker! The Graz99ers provided their fans against Hydro Fehérvár Av19 with many goals. From the first second to wide awake, the team of head coach Harry Lange dominated the game and set the course for victory early. In the end there was a clear 9: 4 on the scoreboard – a result that perfectly reflects the courageous appearance of the 99ers.
99ers took lightning start
Lightning start for the Graz99ers: After only 31 seconds, Marcus Vela scored 1-0. Even after that, the Grazer remained on the trigger – in minute 12 captain Korbinian Holzer increased to 2-0 after the ideal pass from Tim Harnisch. The home side subsequently had a huge chance through Paul Huber, but from nowhere it hit Fehérvár through Varga to the connection. With a late power play for the 99ers, which largely passed into the second third, we went into the first break.

The 99ers also caught the dream start in the middle third – as in the first section, it hit exactly 31 seconds: Paul Huber falsified a shot from another Koch in the power play – 3: 1! And the Grazer immediately followed up: Swaney showed an overview and found Nick Bailen, who shot dry to 4: 1. But a little carelessness was promptly punished, Kulmala reduced to 2: 4. The 99ers continued to play unimpressed: Roy fought a Blueeliner before Huber laced the double pack with his second goal – 6-2! The long troop was hungry, bails also added and hit a second time. Shortly before the break, the guests came through Rymsha to 3: 7.
Graz didn’t let anything burn
The final third also started with two quick goals: First, terbocs shortened in minute 42 from an acute angle to 4: 7, but just a few moments later Lukas Kainz restored the old distance with the 8: 4. In a phase double outnumbered, the 99ers defended with a lot of effort and a safe Nico Wieser in the goal – the guests found no way. Then the Grazer checked the action, let the disc and opponents run and go one step further in the final minute: Chris Collins ensured the last cheering of the evening with the 9: 4 final score.
