by Archynetys News Desk

A 32-year-old woman slightly injured her ex-partner with a knife in Graz and, according to the state police department, she may have been abusing her two children for some time. The 37-year-old ex-partner was injured in the attack in the woman’s apartment on Wednesday afternoon. She was arrested and taken to the Graz-Jakomini prison, the police said on Friday. The man filed a complaint at a police station on Wednesday morning.

He had a slightly bleeding injury in his hip area and stated that he had just been attacked by his ex-partner. The reason may have been the removal of two small children by the youth welfare office some time before. An argument and knife attack are said to have occurred in the woman’s apartment on Wednesday. The 32-year-old is also said to have made a dangerous threat against her ex-boyfriend.

According to the state police department, the man reported to the youth welfare office some time ago that the woman had been abusing both children, aged six and almost two, for a long time. The police initially did not want to comment on the nature of the abuse. The almost two-year-old is a child together, the six-year-old has the woman with another man, said an investigator in response to an APA request. During the course of the survey, videos were viewed that appeared to show the 32-year-old mistreating children. The public prosecutor then ordered her arrest.

A search was still negative on Wednesday. Police confiscated the knife during a house search. The woman was arrested in the early hours of Thursday. She refused to testify during her interrogation. According to the police, there will be further surveys and interviews.
