Ugandan Teenager Aims to Inspire african Youth Through Law Studies

Grace Amber Birungi, a 16-year-old student and Miss High School 2024, aspires to study law at Harvard University and empower young people across Africa.

Sixteen-year-old Grace Amber Birungi is being lauded in Uganda as a role model. The Elite High School student and Miss High School 2024 winner is passionate about African culture and hopes to inspire her peers with “a gun of wisdom and creative creature.”

Birungi aims to motivate young africans to embrace their heritage and contribute to the continent’s growth,particularly in tourism. She has spent countless hours reading and studying, hoping to inspire her classmates and maintain her position as Miss High School.

With high ambitions, Birungi is determined to overcome challenges and maintain a positive attitude.Her writing skills, love for literature, and thankfulness for nature have shaped her thinking and made her a relevant voice for youth in the modern era.

Birungi aspires to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Harvard University. She is dedicated to her studies and prays for a scholarship to support her dream. She is also recognized as a strong researcher among her peers.

Born in Kampala City to Dr. Olive Enid Nabiryo and Dr. Robert Kayiwa, Ms. grace Amber Birungi serves as the Assistant Clubs prefect at Elite High School. She facilitates student debates on topics relevant to their futures.

Born on May 31, 2008, Ms. Grace Birungi envisions using a law degree from Harvard to inspire African youth. She is working diligently with her parents and mentors to achieve this goal.

“I have fond and deep affection for tourism and I love nature.I mostly know very well that by emerging the best and walking home with Miss High School crown in 2024 opened doors for me and as an activist for youth empowerment, I hold much interest to study law at harvard University,” said Grace Amber Birungi, who was recently commended by State Minister for Youth Affairs Balam Barugahara during a visit to Uganda’s Parliament.

“She was too intelligent in modelling and too skillful in swimming. For me I am happy with her performance as well as she is among the best students in English discpline at Elite High School,” said Ms. Enid Nabiryo, Birungi’s mother.
