To prevent harm to consumers using overseas direct purchase platforms, the government is increasing the distribution surveillance network for illegally imported goods.

The Korea Customs Service announced today (26th) that it will also include AliExpress and Temu in its investigation into the distribution of illegally imported goods scheduled to take place in June.

He said he has requested cooperation from these platforms to ensure that their own system authentication and user protection systems are functioning well.

According to the Korea Customs Service, the number of goods detected through foreign direct purchase abuse last year amounted to 114.9 billion won, which is about double last year.

RATP Offers 1,600 To 2,500 Euros JO Bonus…

Negotiations for bonuses linked to the Olympic Games granted to metro and RER drivers of the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP) ended on Wednesday April 24 with a bonus proposal of 1,600 euros, announced the unions and management THURSDAY. This bonus concerns agents who will work from July 22 to September 8.

It will be supplemented by an “exceptional event” bonus of 44.10 euros per day worked on 12 metro lines as well as the RER A and B during the competition periods of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, which could lead some driving agents to receive 2,500 euros in total. This system concerns 2,000 agents out of the 30,000 who will work during the Games.

The bonus of 1,600 euros will be reduced by 50% if an agent has five days of absence (for sick leave for example) over the period and will not be paid beyond five days of absence. Other measures are planned such as the possibility of shifting a maximum of 11 days of leave not taken in 2024 until September 2025.

Why Are There So Many Delays In Paying…

The collection of “surplus” corn continues in all provinces of the country. The quantities already collected today amount to more than 33 thousand tonnes. However, this campaign is characterized by imperfections in certain localities of the country, especially those linked to late payments from producers. Anagessa calls on producers not to give in to impatience.

Joseph Nduwimana, General Director of Anagessa: “It is not always easy to pay cash. But Anagessa does its best to ensure that the producers’ money reaches them as quickly as possible.”

Officially, the campaign to collect “surplus” corn continues in all provinces of the country. As pointed out by Joseph Nduwimana, Director General of Anagessa, initially, Anagessa planned to collect around 25 thousand tonnes of surplus corn. Thanks to a good harvest, the expected quantities were largely exceeded. The quantity of corn already collected today amounts to 33 thousand tonnes. This has caused some hangars to start to become overwhelmed.

To deal with this, this authority reports that since last week, activities to unclog these hangars have been underway. As the CEO of Anagessa continues to mention, this agency rents large hangars when necessary. “We are in the process of moving crops from our overflowing sheds to four large sheds.

Russians Taken Prisoner. They Had Enough Sense To…

We don’t see enough images like this. On the one hand, the ferocity of soldiers, and on the other, the widespread use of drones that attack enemies unexpectedly, mean that there is often no opportunity to lay down weapons and surrender. However, as you can see in the video above, such events still occur.

The film shows one of the trenches near the battle front. The sounds of the ongoing battle can still be heard in the background. Amidst all this confusion, two Russian soldiers, apparently scared, decided to lay down their weapons and surrender themselves to war captivity. From their relatively clean equipment, it can be concluded that they had recently arrived at the front and had no opportunity to test their strength in combat. For them, the war is over and there is a high probability that they will eventually be reunited with their families.

Mezzour Highlights Moroccos Considerable Efforts To Attract Investments

The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ryad Mezzour, highlighted, Thursday in Rabat, Morocco’s considerable efforts to attract European and French investments.

Speaking during a meeting with the delegation of the French Business Movement (MEDEF), under the theme “presentation of the contemporary Moroccan industrial platform”, Mr. Mezzour returned to the Kingdom’s efforts to attract these investors by opening its markets and by investing heavily in infrastructure, logistics, and human resources to increase its competitiveness.

“Morocco, which maintains its position of proximity, reliability and stability, is proving to be a winning bet for European and French investors,” noted the minister, stressing that the interconnected value chains between Morocco and France constitute a valuable component for the development of both countries.

In this sense, he explained that competitiveness and decarbonization, which Morocco and France have developed jointly, transcend the simple option to become an absolute necessity.

For his part, the president of the Sustainable City Task Force within the MEDEF, Gérald Wolf, highlighted his organization’s commitment to modern, low-carbon solutions, at the cutting edge of technology, emphasizing the importance of the inclusion of young people and women in these innovations.

For his part,

Workers Rights Revival: The Role Of Unions In…

Workers at Volkswagen plant in Tennessee vote to join United Automobile Workers

Last week, employees at a Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, made a significant decision by voting nearly three to one to join the United Automobile Workers union. This victory, while involving only a few thousand workers in the grand scheme of the economy, holds symbolic importance for the labor movement, particularly in the historically anti-union South.

The Chattanooga vote may be seen as a milestone on the path towards a more equitable society in the United States. Historically, America has not been truly egalitarian, but did experience a period of relative income and wealth equality following World War II. However, in recent decades, the country has become increasingly unequal in terms of wealth distribution.

The shift towards greater equality in the postwar period was largely attributed to the rise of strong labor unions, which represented over 30 percent of American workers by the late 1940s. The decline of unions in the 1980s, with their representation dropping to about a quarter of workers, is bel ieved to have contributed significantly to the current era of income inequality.

Despite claims that the decline of unions was inevitable due to global competition and shifts in the economy,
