Gold price Antam on the Sahabat Pegadaian website today, Wednesday (22/10), fell to IDR 2,541,000 per gram after breaking the highest record of up to IDR 2.7 million per gram last week.
The decline in the price of Antam gold reached IDR 116 thousand per gram, which is a drop compared to yesterday which fell IDR 14 thousand per gram.
The decline also occurred in UBS and Galeri24 gold prices. It was recorded that today’s UBS gold price fell from IDR 2,513,000 to IDR 2,438,000 per gram, while Galeri24 fell from IDR 2,504,000 to IDR 2,429,000 per gram.

The price of Antam gold on the Logam Mulia website also fell from IDR 2,487,000 to IDR 2,310,000 per gram.
The price of gold on the Precious Metals and Friends of Pegadaian sites is different. The Logam Mulia site is the official site belonging to PT Antam Tbk, while Sahabat Pegadaian belongs to PT Pegadaian (Persero).
Doo Financial Futures analyst Lukman Leong assesses that the price decline that occurred is still reasonable considering the sharp increase that has occurred in recent times.
“This correction occurred more because of profit taking and anticipation of the China-US trade negotiations which are expected to produce positive results. Even with this large correction, gold prices are still higher than when prices started last week,” said Lukman to cnnindonesia.com.
Meanwhile, the price of gold in international trading based on the COMEX Commodity Exchange market reference rose 1.1 percent to US$4,113.1 per troy ounce. Meanwhile, the price of gold in spot trading rose 0.11 percent to US$4,128.23 per troy ounce this morning.
