THE LEFT. After over ten years of television activity, Gigliola Cinquetti he returns to live music with a theater tour that marks his breakthrough on the concert scene. The debut is set for November 28th in Levico Terme (Trento)with the zero date of a refined, exciting and profoundly authentic musical project. In this new show, the artist retraces sixty years of her career, intertwining past and present: a narrative in music that pays homage to the songs that have made her an icon of Italian song – and not only – with modern arrangements that always respect her unique style and her unmistakable elegance.
Timeless hits will resonate on stage such as: “Alle porte del sole”, “Dio come ti amo”, “La rain”, “Sì”, “Non ho l’età” and many other pearls from her repertoire, alongside original reinterpretations such as a rousing version of “Chiquitita” by Abba and “La Bohème” by Charles Aznavour, which Gigliola helped make famous in Italy. Accompanying her is an exceptional band, elegant and pop at the same time: Stefano Pisetta – musical direction and drums (Claudio Baglioni, Mina, Fiorella Mannoia, Ornella Vanoni), Luca Baldessari – piano and keyboards (session man and music teacher), Alessandro Biasi – guitars (guitarist of La Corrida and Gigliola Cinquetti’s “band + orchestra” project), Giulio Molteni – bass (trained at the Trento Conservatory and at the CPM, already alongside Stewart Copeland).
