Gibran Sabet: British Campus & Academic Standards

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) emphasized that all foreign universities that partnered with MDIS would comply with strict academic standards before giving a diploma or scholar.

MDIS responded to the public doubt regarding the history of the Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

They stated, Gibran really studied at MDIS, Singapore in 2007-2010 to undergo further education diploma.

Gibran then won a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Bradford, England.

University of Bradford is one of the foreign universities partners from MDIS.

“All diplomas and titles given by our honorable foreign university partners comply with strict academic standards. MDIS is proud to provide high quality education to all students, ensuring that they accept quality experiences,” MDIS wrote, in his statement, Wednesday (1/10/2025).

MDIS said, in Singapore, private educational institutions organized higher education programs through collaboration with foreign university partners.

They claim to be committed to upholding the standards of integrity and high academic accuracy.

“MDIS is one of the oldest non -profit professional institutions in Singapore. We are committed to equipping students with the latest important skills in the current dynamic landscape,” he explained.

MDIS said, they also offered strong higher education in a conducive environment.

MDIS wants to ensure students are ready to face challenges and opportunities in the global economy.

“Our graduates have the latest expertise and reflect the demands of the professional world that continues to grow,” added MDIS.

It is known, civilians Subhan Palal filed an objection to the change in information on the history of the education of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka on the official website of the Indonesian Election Commission (KPU).

This objection was conveyed by Subhan in the further trial of the civil lawsuit against Gibran held at the Central Jakarta District Court.

“Good, His Majesty, we submit an objection because Defendant 2 (KPU RI) changed evidence,” said Subhan, in a hearing at Central Jakarta District Court, Monday (9/22/2025).
