Govind Padmasurya is a well-known actor in Malayalam through his reality show D for Dance in Mazhavil Manorama, which had a large audience in Malayalam. The actor, who made his acting debut with the Malayalam movie “Marks” which was released in 2008 and won five state awards, has played many roles in Malayalam and other languages.

The actor made his debut in Telugu with the movie Ang Vaikuntha Purath, which was released in 2020 and was directed by Trivikram Srinivas, starring Allu Arjun. The actor received great acceptance in the Telugu film industry for his villainous role in the film. After a while, the film became a big hit in Allu Arjun’s career.

In a recent interview with YouTuber Sujith Bhakta, Govind’s words about the time difference between shooting Malayalam films and foreign language films are now being discussed on social media. The actor made a comparison between the two industries by comparing himself to Jayasurya’s Malayalam film Pretham.

‘We shot Pretham in twenty-three days, while Ang Vaikunthpuram took almost nine months to shoot. They make pictures by taking time and effort. They have a program called Schedule Break. If you shoot for one eight days, the next ten days will be empty.

To put it simply, the movie directed by Rajamouli sir with Rajuvettan is slated for release in December 2027. Because there is still a year and a half left to complete the shoot. That is one of the characteristics of his big pictures. All the films produced by Nani sir with Allu Arjun sir and Nagarjuna sir follow the same method,’ said the actor.

The star says that the lead actors will take their time to do the films and the other co-actors will be part of other films in the meantime. Govind added that if we look at Allu Arjun’s case, he has released only three films including two parts of Pushpa and Ang Vaikunthpuram in the last five years.
