The German state of Schleswig-Holstein is nearing the completion of its long-term initiative to replace microsoft software with open-source alternatives.Over the next three months, a notable portion of the state’s government employees will transition away from programs like Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook, prioritizing independence, sustainability, and enhanced security.
