All those involved in the Movember Time By Gergy day were hard at work this Saturday morning, in the Pierre-Lapin foyer room, to welcome the participants in this Gergotine day dedicated to men’s cancer such as prostate.
The program brought a variety of activities, with a coffee reception, prevention stands: AP3S health center, Oncossup, Cora-Saône, the league against cancer, H & CO Vivre Mieux, information and prevention on prostate and testicular cancers.
At ten o’clock, more than fifty people mobilized for the blue march, over a 5 km route through the Gergottine countryside. The walkers braved the cold, happy to participate for a great cause. The MSA provided bottled water to participants.
A perfect animation
Cyril, the Gergotin barber, took care of beards and mustaches, in his relaxed style, the photo booths printed these memories embellished with objects: hats, glasses, fake mustaches… And of course, a little competition for the most beautiful photo.
The FLL Gergy-Verjux ran the refreshment bar with mulled wine, the “les Lutins Gergotins” association offered a calendar raffle. The total donations amounted to €988 compared to €1,054 in 2024. This sum will be shared between the CoraSaône associations, the league against cancer, Oncossup and H & CO.
