The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that the Israeli army has completed its preparations to start the second phase of the “Gideon 2 vehicles” operation, through which it seeks to completely control Gaza City.
The authority pointed out that although the operation will face wide global condemnation, high -level security and political figures confirmed that there is no escape from expanding the scope of fighting in light of the stalemate in the path of negotiations, the release of the hostages, after the attempt to assassinate Hamas leaders carried out by Israel in Doha.
For its part, the Israeli Channel 12 quoted the Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir a message he sent to the political leadership in a closed room during a security meeting on Sunday evening, in which he said: “We are committed to the goals of the war as defined by the government, but Hamas will not defeat militarily and politically even after the process of controlling Gaza City.”
Regarding the evacuation orders of the residents of Gaza City, the Israeli channel quoted the army that it is estimated that most of the population will agree to leave at the last minute, noting that the Israeli forces will gradually enter the city but with great strength, while Prime Minister Netanyahu stressed during the meeting: “I want to see this process begin within the agreed time frame.”
According to Israeli security sources, about 300,000 residents of Gaza City have left so far, while the Israeli army expects between 200 and 300,000 invaders in the Gaza City area at the start of the military operation.
The BBC has not independently verified the number of Palestinians who left Gaza City since the start of Israeli evacuation.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation indicated that the Israeli military leadership warned that the expansion of operations in Gaza “may kill the hostages.”
A security source confirmed – according to the commission – that “the entire political elite learned to do so”, while studying potential responses in the event that the hostages are at risk.
Last week, the Israeli army intensified its air strikes on Gaza, targeting many towers in the city.

Earlier Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during his meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sunday that “the alliance with the United States was never stronger than it is now.
Netanyahu, who described Rubio as an “extraordinary friend” of Israel, added that the visit of the US Secretary of State shows the extent of “the power of the Israeli -American coalition.”
Rubio and the American ambassador to Israel, Mike Hakapi, visited the Western Wall in occupied East Jerusalem, accompanied by Netanyahu, who described the Israeli -American coalition, as “strong and crucified like the walls that we just touched.”
His remarks came despite the fact that US President Donald Trump and his foreign minister expressed their concern in advance about the Israeli strike that targeted the negotiating leadership delegation of Hamas in Qatar.
Rubio had confirmed, before his country, that the existing dispute over the attack on Qatar “would not affect Washington’s commitment to supporting Israel”, despite the criticisms of its recent strikes.
Rubio previously said that he would discuss the attack on Qatar with Netanyahu, but confirmed that this would not shake the relations between the two countries.
Rubio’s visit to Israel comes at a time when Israel is facing increasing international pressure against the background of the escalation of its military operations in the Gaza Strip, and before the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly, where several Western countries are preparing to recognize a Palestinian state, in a move opposed by Israel and Washington.
Prepared steps for the Arab Islamic Summit
In Doha, the Qatari Prime Minister urged the international community on Sunday to stop the “dual standards”, calling during a preparatory meeting of an expected Arab Islamic summit in Doha on Monday, to “punish Israel for its crimes.”
On Monday, Qatar will host a summit for Arab and Islamic countries in response to the Israeli attack that targeted Hamas leaders in the Qatari capital.
The Israeli raids resulted in the killing of five members of the movement and a member of the Qatari security forces.
“What encourages Israel to continue in this approach is silence, but rather the international community is unable to hold it accountable.”
He added, “Israel must know that the continuous extermination war against the brotherly Palestinian people aimed at removing it from its land … will not succeed.”
And Sunday, a preparatory meeting was held for foreign and Islamic ministers in Doha.
The spokesman for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majid bin Muhammad Al -Ansari, said that the summit “reflects the wide Arab and Islamic solidarity with Doha, and confirms the rejection of these categorical countries to terrorize the state practiced by Israel,” adding that the summit of Monday “will discuss a draft statement presented by the preparatory meeting.”
Iran affirmed the participation of its president, Masoud Boussakian, in the summit, and Iraq, the participation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shi’a Al -Sudani. The Turkish presidency said that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Doha on Monday, while Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Doha on Sunday evening.
Commenting on the holding of the summit, a member of the political bureau of Hamas, Bassem Naim, said in a statement, “We look forward to the summit with a unified and decisive Arab -Islamic position, and with clear and specific procedures, the most important of which is; stopping the aggression and the war of extermination on Gaza and breaking the siege on it, and cutting all forms of relations with this rogue entity and pursuing it for its crimes.”
“Without shelter, tent, or even a cloth”
In the fieldIsrael bombed the “Kawthar Tower” in the Tal Al -Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, according to eyewitnesses, as part of its campaign to destroy the high buildings that Hamas is using it for military purposes, which the movement denies.
At the same time, the Israeli army announced on Sunday that it had bombed a tall building “used” Hamas in the city, without calling it.
He added in a statement that the movement “planted means of collecting intelligence”, and set up observation points to monitor the positions of the Israeli army forces in the region, and to carry out “terrorist” attacks against Israel and its forces.
The famous chef on social media, Samah Pills, which lived in the 13 -storey Kawthar Tower, says that between the issuance of the evacuation warning and the bombing of the building is less than twenty minutes.
She affirmed a voice that is loved, to the Gaza Gaza today, on the BBC, that she was unable to take any of her possessions with her, but that she was destroyed with the building, and that she only wanted to survive herself and her six -person family.
She is now describing after her house bombing, as “now on the street, shelter, tent, or even a cloth” that protects them.
In a separate context, medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced today, Sunday, the war toll in the Gaza Strip increased to 64,871 dead and 164,610 injuries, since the seventh of October 2023.
The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) indicated that medical sources announced 68 dead and 346 injuries, and arrived at the Gaza Strip hospitals during the past 24 hours.

Earlier this year, the World Health Organization said that the Israeli attack on Gaza has exhausted the health regime in the Strip “beyond the collapse point.”
Israel announced that it expands its efforts to facilitate the delivery of aid, and questioned the numbers of the Ministry of Health about the deaths caused by malnutrition. The Israeli army launched its campaign against Gaza in response to the Hamas attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and detained 251 others.

According to the Mirror newspaper, every child can accompany members of his family if necessary.
“It was a great diplomatic effort to help them leave Gaza,” Cooper told the newspaper.
