Police have moved out after reports of shooting in the center of Gävle night until Saturday.
Six people have been transported to hospital by ambulance, and a large police offer has been on the scene through the night, writes Aftonbladet.
According to police, several people were injured when shoots were fired in the area. The degree of injury is not known.
Police received several reports of high bangs just before 2am.
In total, seven ambulances were sent to the site. The area where the shooting took place is now blocked off, and the police have started investigating murder attempts.
Police say it is too early to say anything about any connections between the six people, but that there is currently no danger to the public.
During the night, police have questioned witnesses and walked from door to door in the area around the scene.
No one is so far arrested.
