The Indonesian U-23 national team is set to clash with Macau in a 2026 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification match tonight, with hopes high for a dominant victory.

In Group J of the 2026 asian U-23 Asian Cup qualification,the Indonesian U-23 national team currently holds the second position with one point following a 0-0 draw against Laos.Simultaneously occurring, the Macau U-23 national team sits in fourth place with zero points after a 0-5 defeat to South Korea.

The match between the Indonesian and Macau U-23 national teams will take place at the Gelora Delta Sidoarjo Stadium on Saturday (6/9) at 19.30 WIB. The two teams have only met once before,in the U-22 Asian Cup qualifiers in 2012,where Indonesia secured a 2-1 victory.

On paper, the Indonesian side, known as “Garuda Muda,” is considered the stronger team, benefiting from superior player quality and the advantage of playing on home soil.
