Gard Drug Bust: 4 Arrests & Major Seizures

Arrested on November 14, the supposed network heads were presented before the Nîmes court on Monday. Around twenty consumers were also heard.

Two deal points were dismantled in Gard. This is what the gendarmes announced this Thursday, November 20. After an investigation carried out by the anti-narcotics group (VIAS) of gendarmes from the Vauvert company, four people suspected of being involved in drug trafficking were arrested on November 14 in Vauvert and Cailar.

Deal points estimated at €57,000 and €27,000

During the searches, several narcotics were also found, including cocaine and cannabis, but also a long gun and cash. According to the military, the turnover of these deal points is estimated at more than €57,000 for one and €27,000 for the other.

At the end of police custody, two of the accused were released pending a future judgment. On the other hand, the supposed network heads, aged 28 and 30, were referred to the Nîmes court at the beginning of the week. Pending their judgment scheduled for next December, committal warrants have been ordered.

Around twenty consumers were also heard in the context of this case and left with a criminal order and a criminal composition.
