La Xunta de Galicia will launch its line of guarantees again for the fourth consecutive year for the acquisition of a habitual residence, with a maximum global amount of five million euros.
The program It is aimed at those under 36 years of age residing in Galicia. who buy their first home, and in the case of subsidized housing there will be no age limit.
The measure allows that the regional administration guarantees up to 20% of the acquisition costmaking it easier for the mortgage to cover up to 100% of the price of the home.
The goal is to help to those who have sufficient income to assume the monthly feebut they do not have the necessary savings to cover the part that banks do not usually finance.
They will be able to access these guarantees people under 36 years of age with Spanish nationality or from a country of the European Union, as well as foreigners with authorization to stay or reside in Spain.
Income must be between 2 and 5.5 times the Iprema limit that may be extended to 6.5 Iprem when the home is purchased by more than one person.
He maximum price of the home will be between 180,000 and 260,000 eurosdepending on the municipality in which it is located. In the case of protected housing, the limit will be the one set in its final classification.
The requests may be submitted once the call is published in the Official Gazette of Galicia and until October 30, 2026.
Since the launch of the program in 2023, The Xunta has granted 219 guarantees for an amount greater than four million eurosconsolidating this support line as a tool to facilitate access to housing, especially among the young population.
