Gadu-Gadu turns 25 years old. The Polish messenger is constantly being developed

Every time there is a mention of GG on the web, many users get nostalgia. The Polish messenger was a showcase of the Polish Internet in the distant past. Almost everyone used: from well -known personalities, through the media or institutions after the company. What does GG offer today?

To start with a handful of statistics. The press release stated that currently 61.3 percent GG users are people under 35. Less than 37 percent They are Internet users in the age range 16-25 years. 150 million – so many messages are sent by GG users per month. The lion’s share of users of the messenger uses the mobile version (62.9 percent).

Iconic animated emoticons, availability statuses are present (“soon returns”, “invisible”, “available”, “talk”) and the ability to set the description.

Since 2018, the GG brand belongs to the Polish company fintecom SA and this consistently develops new services in the messenger. Among them are mobile payments based on the virtual ggwallet portfolio. It allows you to transfer money from the GG number to the GG number.
