Cuban Nights Festival Wraps Up in Quimper with Salsa, Bachata, and Conventional Music
The 46th International Festival of “Cuban nights” musical weeks concluded this Saturday, August 16, in Quimper, France. The event culminated in a vibrant festivity that drew participants from across Brittany, Alsace, and Germany.
From 7 p.m., attendees of the Cuban dance course gathered with their host, Ydel Gomez abreu, for a Salsa and Bachata ball. The event lived up to expectations, with over two hundred people dancing to Latin rhythms. The evening continued with a performance by El Septeto Nabori, a traditional Cuban music group from Santiago de Cuba, who are currently on their European tour, which began in 2024. The group,with over 25 years of experience,shared the rhythms and popular tunes of their country with an audience of 400.
