Hockey goalies usually use one mask per season. But Frodl will make a small exception and try a special design for a duel against his former club.
The black and white motifs of the Karlovy Vary energy will be exchanged for Japanese themes. “I have been trying to tune the masks to my gear, concrete, gloves. Since I entered professional hockey, it has been coming out for one mask for the season. It is not in vain that when you catch up, you must at least look good,” Frodl said.

The helmets are created by designer and Airbrusher Roman Vítek, who also prepared a mask inspired by Ghost of Yotei. “Japanese themes are not quite common with hockey masks, I draw it once a year. But this is definitely exceptional both its appearance and special purpose,” said Vítek.

Frodl’s mask will be auctioned for charitable purposes.
And why the world of gaming? Frodl has a close relationship with video games. “But since my twins were born, there is, of course, more rare to play,” smiled the 29 -year -old goalkeeper.
His mask for a single match will then go to the public auction. “Each crown will go to the newly emerging Endowment Fund, which is associated with my charity initiative Project Frodo. So I look forward that we will be able to improve their lives a little bit with fans of this game,” Frodl added.
