The Ve’e tata program will provide service this month in Juchitán de Zaragoza, Santo Domingo Tehuantepec and Salina Cruz
Heroic City of Juchitán de Zaragoza, Oax. November 20, 2025.- To promote the early detection of breast cancer, Oaxaca Health Services (SSO), in coordination with the Secretariat of Welfare, Tequio and Inclusion (Sebienti), will expand the free mammography sessions in the 2 Istmo Health Jurisdiction through the Ve’e tata-Salud Caravans in your municipality.
The head of the sector in the region, Hebert Vidal Sánchez, invited women between 40 and 69 years old with risk factors, as well as men between 45 and 69 years old with a medical reference in the event of the identification of a breast anomaly; to take advantage of this study that can make a difference in early diagnosis.
From November 20 and 21, this day will be at the Doctor Macedonio Benítez Fuentes General Hospital, in the Heroic City of Juchitán de Zaragoza; November 24, 25 and 26, at the Health Center with Expanded Services of Santo Domingo Tehuantepec; and on November 27 and 28 in front of the Municipal Palace of this district.
Likewise, from December 1 to 5, the service will be offered in front of the Salina Cruz Urban Health Center. The hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the capacity to perform up to 100 mammograms daily.
Users will be able to access the study if they have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months. They must present a copy of official identification, Unique Population Registration Code (CURP) and go without deodorant, perfume, talcum powder or body cream on the day of the study.
Those with a positive diagnosis will be given immediate follow-up and will be able to receive treatment and chemotherapy at the Oaxaca Oncology and Radiotherapy Center (CORO), guaranteeing comprehensive and timely care.
