This May 10th, Zapp Comics, along with other locations, will be a focal point for Free Comic Book Day (FCBD), an annual event celebrating the art and accessibility of comics.

originating in the United States in the early 2000s, Free Comic Book Day has become a beloved tradition in Germany since 2010. Comic shops,publishers,and artists collaborate to offer a selection of specially produced comic books to the public,completely free of charge. Over 30 unique comic book titles will be available at participating stores, allowing visitors to explore a wide spectrum of genres and styles. While there’s no obligation to purchase anything, there is a limit of five free comics per person to ensure as many people as possible can participate.
