Fratelli D’Italia: Why the ‘Yes’ Vote – Meeting Analysis

A public meeting will be held on Monday 16 March at 7.00 pm in the council room of the Municipality of Minervino Murge which will illustrate the justice reform which will be subjected to the confirmatory vote of the Italians in the next Constitutional Referendum of 22 and 23 April.

The event is organized by the local section of Fratelli d’Italia “Pinuccio Brizzi” which invites the entire citizenry to a public discussion on the topic of the separation of careers between judges and magistrates, the draw method for electing the double CSM, the institution of the High Court of Justice. According to the proponents, with the reform the autonomy of magistrates and judges will increase, the political currents within the CSM will disappear, which will guarantee greater freedom of the judging bodies.

In view of the constitutional referendum, we believe it is important to create opportunities for discussion and study open to all citizens” say the organizers.

Informed voting always arises from knowledge and dialogue. For this reason we organized a public meeting dedicated to the reasons for the YES, with the aim of analyzing the contents of the reform and understanding its implications on an institutional, legal and political level“.
