  • Rosa Bike, in Granada Fit, Saturday, September 27.

Each activity is priced at $ 20, which is equivalent to the value of a mammogram in alliance with the Puerto Ordaz Professional Medical Center (Puerto Ordaz Clinic).

Finally, they close on October pink with the free day of clinical confirming at the Puerto Ordaz clinic, scheduled for next Sunday, October 31 from 7:00 in the morning.

Relieve your load in numbers

According to the foundation data, in 2021 they attended 1,300 women and performed 140 mammograms with 20 breast cancer diagnoses.

In 2022, 800 patients were received with 544 mammograms performed and 11 diagnoses. “We said we cannot attend so many patients and not answer them in relation to mammography, since our ultimate goal is to make mammography,” said Dr. Donnerys Rivas.

In 2023, 920 patients received attention, made 602 mammograms and had 17 diagnosed cases. And in 2024 they attended a total of 400 women, 405 mammography (exceeding the attention number) and 9 cases detected.

In four years of experience it relieves its load has served 3,420 women, 1600 mammograms and 57 diagnosis of breast cancer.

“Not only were we staying the diagnosis, we wanted to go further. There are women who are of limited resources and we decided to give more help with 120 biopsies. This year in particular we decided to give seven chemotherapies between three patients, 12 surgeries and an immunohistochemical, an expensive special study that we could donate to a patient,” added the oncologist.

The Foundation relieves its burden was founded in 2021 in Puerto Ordaz, BolĂvar state, by three women and specialists in the health area: Donnerys Rivas and Ivania Nasr, both oncologists; and Alicia Villegas Plastic and reconstructive surgeon. They did it with the purpose of the early diagnosis of breast cancer.
