For The First Timenegotiations To End The Russian-Ukrainian…

by drbyos

National security advisers and senior officials from around the world are scheduled to meet in Doha this weekend to discuss plans for a summit on Ukraine’s conditions for reaching a settlement with Russia, according to people familiar with the matter who spoke to Bloomberg.

The meeting of officials from the G7 and the so-called Global South is part of a round of talks that paves the way for a high-level summit scheduled to be hosted by Switzerland in June.

Some of these meetings included dozens of other countries from the Gulf, the G20, and the BRICS.

Sources who spoke anonymously told Bloomberg that the list of attendees for the meeting in the Qatari capital has not yet been finalized.

Russia was not invited, and it is still unclear whether China will attend the conference.

Ukraine’s allies believe that China’s presence is important for the success of the summit, given the influence they say Beijing has over Moscow more than two years after the war.

The meeting comes days after the United States approved a national security package that includes more than $60 billion in aid for Kiev, providing Ukraine with some relief after months of battlefield setbacks.

Akhannouch Opts For A New Era Of Investment

#Akhannouch #opts #era #investment The results of the head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, are relatively consistent with his promises at the start of his mandate in 2021. He has only partially achieved the objectives set out in the past, in particular by safeguarding the purchasing power of consumers by preserving electricity prices, in order to support the production costs of businesses, particularly in industry, and to preserve jobs. Likewise, the launch of railway lines “High-speed lines”, hydraulic infrastructure, gas pipelines and sports complexes, only places Morocco in a positive dynamic.

During the mid-term review, the head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, provided a panoramic assessment, indicating that the State is committed to repaying the arrears of value added tax credits owed by the State to companies, for a cumulative amount of 20 billion dirhams. This measure allowed SMEs to quickly have liquidity. Through this act, the government sent a strong signal of confidence, benefiting all sectors, particularly SMEs. Faced with the global surge in energy prices, the government has chosen to preserve electricity prices, in order to support companies’ production costs and preserve jobs. And then he launched: “In Chile, we are governed by a ‘woke’ President. A President who is under 40 years old, who rides his bicycle down the street with police escorts, who arrives to work late, who goes home early, and there are even days when he doesn’t even go to work.”
