Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for Wicked: For Good, coinciding with the film’s return to theaters for a special one-day event. The new film promises to bring the second act of the musical to the big screen.
For Good picks up where Part One left off, with elphaba, branded an enemy of Oz by Madame morrible and the Wizard, fleeing the Emerald City and leaving Glinda behind. The film will explore Elphaba’s journey with the magical grimmerie and her life as a fugitive, while Glinda grapples with her friend’s departure and her own rise as a new witch.
