Also new is the debut of women’s football, which Sports Interactive will seamlessly integrate into the existing FM ecosystem. If you ever get tired of men’s football and just want to see how a women’s football team performs in Football Manager 26, you can do that from this year.
With FIFA license
What particularly stands out in Football Manager 26 is the new FIFA license. This means that content with official licenses will be introduced starting next year. In addition to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA, this also applies to the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Here you can expect all the official kits of the 48 participating teams in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, along with the official broadcast graphics and tournament branding. This is also accompanied by a revised version of the international management module, which will be updated in the run-up to the World Cup.
