Earlham College Women’s Golf wrapped up its busy first week of the season by securing 10th place out of 11 teams at the IU East Fall Invitational, held at Highland Lake Golf Course.
Izzy Flint (FY, West Lafayette, IN) led the Quakers, finishing in 41st place with a score of 88-88 – 176. Brileigh quillen-Popejoy (So., Kokomo, IN) followed in 53rd place with a score of 93-93 – 186.Ellen Morrill (So., Beavercreek, OH) also achieved a career personal best in the second round.
Head Coach Matt Brown noted the team’s progress,stating,”With each round,we keep improving. We have already beat more schools then we did all last season.”
The Quakers will compete next at the Kyle Campbell Memorial, hosted by Olivet University in marshall, Michigan, on Friday.
