Don Benito will once again host the inaugural event of the elite and under-23 Spanish Cup, in which the Finisher Team will defend the title won last year by César Pérez. This Sunday, the Guadiana Circuit will test the preparation of all the contenders, with the Navarrese team that has already proven to be ready with its recent stage victory in the Sanroma Memorial.

The Extremaduran race will repeat its usual route, with a loop of almost 43 kilometers starting and ending in Don Benito that will be repeated four times to complete the total 171 kilometers. The steps along the Magacela wall, with ramps of up to 11%, are expected to be the key point to break the competition, especially the last one about 20 kilometers from the finish line.
“We want to start the Spanish Cup on the right foot after the good feelings shown in the Sanroma Memorial. We arrive with the maximum ambition and with alternatives whether it comes to the sprint or if the race breaks down in Magacela,” analyzes Ander Altuna, sports director of the Finisher Team.
