‘final Fantasy 16’ Arrives on Xbox with Complete Edition
Square Enix has launched “Final Fantasy 16” on xbox Series X|S, offering a digital version via the Microsoft Store, complete with a free demo and PC version. Xbox gamers can now delve into the dark fantasy epic,including all previously released additional content.
Originally released for playstation 5 in 2023, “Final Fantasy 16” later became available for PC through Steam and the epic Games Store. Now, Xbox players can also experience the adventure.
Complete Edition Features DLCs and Cross-Saving
The Xbox version,titled “Final Fantasy 16 Complete Edition,” includes the main game and the “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide” expansions. These can also be purchased separately, such as through the Expansion Pass.

A key feature is Xbox Play Anywhere support, enabling players too seamlessly switch between console, PC, and cloud platforms while maintaining their progress. Players who purchase the game will also receive exclusive bonus items,including the Blood Sword,Braveheart Sword,Brave Blade,Cait Sith’s Lucky Charm,and the “Sixteen Bells” orchestrion melody.
Free Demo Available
The Xbox demo provides an introduction to the action RPG, covering the initial hours of Clive’s story and allowing players to familiarize themselves with the combat system and world. Progress from the demo can be carried over to the full game.
Square Enix offers this demo as a way for players to test “Final Fantasy 16” before committing to a purchase. Additionally, “Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade” has been announced for Xbox and is expected to launch this winter.
