LFIFA launched the application process for the FIFA 26 ™ World Cup volunteer program. This community of volunteers, unique in its kind, will help to give life to a tournament that will link three countries and billions of hearts worldwide.
With the planned participation of around 65,000 volunteers, the FIFA 26 ™ World Cup volunteer community will be the largest volunteer program for a FIFA event to date. Given the expanded format of 48 teams and the activity in 16 host cities for six weeks, the FIFA volunteer community, which already has one million members and continues to grow, will be called to join to support the largest FIFA World Cup to date. The volunteers will provide support in 23 functional areas in official and unofficial headquarters, such as stages, training fields, airports, hotels and more.

We hope that those who are interested join us to welcome the world to North America in 2026.”
With the expectation of millions of people to attend the tournament in Canada, Mexico and the United States, FIFA seeks passionate and enthusiastic volunteers to make this FIFA World Cup an unforgettable experience for all. Volunteers are the soul of FIFA events and the champions of their host city: they share their pride and passion with fans around the world, invite visitors to experience the unique culture of their host city and support the extraordinary event that is the FIFA World Cup.
Requirements
- Participate in up to 8 shifts between June 11 and July 19, 2026.
- The minimum age required is 18 years at the time of sending the application.
- You must meet the migratory requirements of the host country.

“I am very proud to be part of this moment, not only for FIFA, but for my city,” Said Craig Collins, who volunteered in the 1994 United States FIFA World Cup and the FIFA 2025 ™ Club World Cup in Atlanta, and officially became the number one million volunteer to join the FIFA volunteer community in April 2025. “I am excited to apply for the 2026 volunteer program and I hope to show my community to the world once again.”
FIFA welcomes volunteers of all origins and capabilities, since the organization aspires to gather people from all areas to enjoy football. From students to retirees, from beginners to veterans, the community of FIFA 26 World Cup volunteers will be formed by a diverse group of people united by the passion for football, volunteering and the community.
